If you wake up one morning and find your elf hasn’t moved, it’s a sad experience. But do you ever wonder why they don’t move? Maybe you can find ways to fix it! So here are 22 reasons why your elf on the shelf might not have moved.

1: She/he has been in the freezer for too long!

3: Perhaps you did something bad and the elf doesn’t want to report it back to Santa ):

4: Could this be your elf’s new favorite spot?

5: Did you look very closely? It could’ve ate a snack last night or moved a little!

6: Maybe she/he is very hungry!

7: If there’s bad weather, the elf can’t fly back to the North Pole to report to Santa!

8: Maybe the elf found a way to communicate to Santa from your house!

9: Your elf could be tired…

10: She/he could’ve forgotten that they moved there last time!
